HEEPPP

Pretty much self explanatory regarding my current status at the workplace for the last month or so.

I'm turning into a freakin yuppie. Somebody give me a rich drop dead gorgeous man to marry already.

My aunt has Facebook

Yessiree bob.

Facebook today proudly told me my dear old aunt has opened a Facebook account. It even "recommended" oh-so-gently that since I may know her after presumably doing a check on my address book that I add her to my list. My guess is she somehow stumbled upon the world of social networking sites and signed up for lawd knows how many more, seeing I a also got an announcement from Tagged saying she had "successfully added me as a friend" in there today. Twice.

What's the big deal, you might ask? Let's just say I'm not sure I'm willing to open up my private life to the family generation before me, lest she stalks her daughter's and my profile during the day for fodder for the dinner table with my mum, or have her Superpoking me every other day juuuust yet. But takkan I don't add own family member, no matter how annoying...

Ish..moral dilemma...

Old maid

The first time was right before noon when I left the house for lunch.

Then, for a few moments ten minutes after I reached home from it.

The last time was when she brought in a new item of clothing to wear barely ten minutes after reaching home from the last trip.

As of right now, I think my sis is officially more happening than me. I think I saw her less than 20 minutes colletively today. Geez.

Oh wait, I'm happening too. I get to say I worked this Easter weekend. Go me.

I, monotone shopper

Faux orchid hair piece. Love these.

Black business cum dinner jersey dress. (excuse the less-than spick surroundings)

RM49.90 collar suspenders. Enough said.

Belt: RM5 for every 20 spent at the same store.

Gotta love their attention to detail.

All in one day without me realizing it until an hour later @ home. Go me.

Samsung/Malaysian Today Road Show

If you don't already know what Malaysian Today and their Roadeez are, it's what the cruisers are to Hitz.FM, for now. I've had the chance to be part of their relaunching campaign for some months now, and yesterday happened to be the second leg of their KlangValley road show tour. Venue of the day was Segi College, which is next to the Summit USJ mall (I never knew that until yesterday!), and mobile giants Samsung were on board the show, giving away 2 very sleek, purty looking SJH-J700 cellphones in a easy-to-win contest.

We brought the Wii and a PS2, which I later found out belonged to Stuart (geez, and I thought my bosses grew out of video games long time ago) along with both *the company's* Samsung 42 inch LCD TV's (bought for occasions like these, kept at home for other 'event's heh). Set it up, then promptly began *product testing*, as you can see from the following evidence. After trying it out, I think I could really love the Wii. Yours truly managed to sneak in a coupla batting practice before being assigned to the 7Up Revive sampling booth/photography/registration.

Wii Boxing

Basically, folks were free to come have a sample of the isotonic beverage anytime they wanted, but if they were interested in entering the competition to win the phones, they had to down 10 cups of it, which to say, isn't very much considering it's no bigger than a Brand's Essence of Chicken bottle. I don't quite remember when we started but I think we finally wrapped up and left close to 4. Despite working under impromptu circumstances, I found myself actually enjoying the event. Maybe I just have this knack for mingling with the crowd, or the years of YF service have taught me to beat the shyness. Or maybe this lack of shyness stems from knowing I'm at least 7 years older than most of the students present there that day. Initially, Jon was nice enough to bring me there to see the 'fruits of my labor'. And I gotta admit it beat sitting in an office playing with Lightwave when most of our proposals have been submitted at this moment. And to be honest, seeing the final result of your last few days of rushing makes for quite an accomplished feeling.

Woohoo!

Anyhoo, with that being said, I'm due to run off to my next appointment before tonight's cball and meeting, and finally being able to call it a weekend.

Later ya'll.
